Today is Friday, day of Freya/Aphrodite/Venus. She’s still conjunct with Jupiter and Chiron in Aries. My thoughts right now are with the meaning of the transition from Pisces to Aries, which is the process of individuating from a larger whole. This is the movement from childhood to adolescence to young adulthood: “becoming” a person. If that process is writ large across all of humanity, the Pisces/Aries transition is about becoming a collective with a unique identity on a galactic scale.
This process requires love and appropriate nurturing from mother (Venus), father (Jupiter) and teacher/healer (Chiron), all of whom are conspiring to conduct us into humanity’s early adulthood, where we move out from under disciplinarian rule into a zone of trial and error as we experiment with life on our own. So today my question is: How do we, as siblings, support each other as our human collective individuates?
First card out is one we saw yesterday, Cancer: Immerse, the lunar mother, the protective homemaker, the emotional conduit that links members in a family. It’s almost like the rule of Saturn, as traditional controller/disciplinarian, is no longer needed. The parent we need is one anchored in the deep, turbulent truth of the body emotional.
From the Mystic Shaman deck come three cards that express how we, as units of a collective, influence each other towards growth. The Tree of Life is the intertwining of opposites, masculine/feminine, fire/water, day/night, which creates everything we see and know in this world. The Coyote is the trickster/devil mask we all wear at times as we provoke others to change through clashes of personality, differences of opinion, fiery arguments. The Heart of Sky is the deep benevolence and invitation to expansion that is inspired by those on unusual paths towards the divine.
One card from the Starseed deck comes out: “Fall into my arms.” It depicts the Cancerian mother holding her child in the blue waters of a cave, flanked by many witnesses who come and in and out of incarnation through her portal/womb. Above, in the top right and left corners, are ancient Grandmothers, our extraterrestrial parents, shepherding the process of human soul evolution. They are watching us, holding delicate balance from behind the scenes, as we begin to open to full awareness of Who and What we actually are.
