An effective ad is simple, clear and compelling.

Drive your audience to action with an ad that says no more than you need, and uses colour and imagery to reinforce your message.

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR AN AD

  • Your logo and other brand assets such as colours and fonts.*
  • Your copy. This is the text to go on the ad. For digital ads that run in sidebars or headers, a maximum of 15 words is ideal. Brevity is the soul of wit and concise language makes for effective ads.
  • Your photo(s). One compelling image goes a long way. In situations where more than one image is necessary (such as a real estate ad with a photo of the property and the listing agent) choose only one to be the focus.
  • Your link. For digital ads, a click goes to your website, to a specific page design to receive your audience. If you’re tracking clicks for marketing purposes, be sure to include the tracking link.
